It took a health scare some years ago, to realise much 'food' existing in the Supermarket 'middleman' between producer and consumer, are not foods but anti-food. Consumables created for commerce, laced with sugars and salts to entice sales. (Beware the processed foods!) What a sad state of circumstance for human potential!
However, creating a kitchen garden for our own health and wealth of life, is something we can all do. If there's not a big garden around our dwelling space, we can start with pots growing edible plants. If we don't know how to do this, we can learn. If we need mentors, we can ask for help among our friends and family or join a community garden (many of which also have allotments or plots available for a small yearly fee). If we are challenged financially, there's lots of free ways to propagate plants. I've been doing a series to encourage people to do just that on YouTube: How to start a free kitchen garden
Enjoy the journey and would love to know how you're going with your journey :)
